The tortoise and the hare

I started this blog for a couple of reasons:

1. To write about the trials and tribulations of being an aspiring writer. (Please refer to post)
2. To reach out and hopefully get attention.
3. Use as a platform for my work.

Somewhere along the way, I got to enjoy blogging, which I didn’t expect.  I believed it would take me away from my job as a writer yet it allowed me to explore and connect with others. It is a different writing style that I apply in my stories and is in a way beneficial because it lets me to converse and be more informal. I like to keep my posts short and to the point. I save the lengthy discourse for my manuscripts. In all honesty, by the time I get around to blogging I have expended all my creative energies.  

So, I will continue to talk about my journey as an aspiring writer, and will introduce you to some of my work. And if I can connect with readers along the way, GREAT.

Though I have a small band of loyal followers, the hits are growing steadily. Like the fable of the tortoise and the hare, perseverance is the key not necessarily speed.  To coin another phrase, ‘Rome was not built in a day.’
