I recently watched *Conclave*, based on Robert Harris’s book. Despite misgivings, the film exceeded expectations, with Ralph Fiennes brilliantly portraying Cardinal Lawrence. The movie faithfully captures the intrigue of the papal election process and the characters’ journeys. A stellar cast and well-executed storyline make it a successful book-to-film adaptation.
