I’ve just joined Alex J. Cavanaugh’s The Insecure Writer’s Support Group. (Click on the link to learn more.) The goal of the support group is to share doubts and concerns, and reassure other writers who have struggled by offering assistance and guidance.
The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day where we post our thoughts on doubts and the fears and how we triumphed. There are other bloggers listed who share their writing journey and I encourage you to check them out.
Here’s my first attempt:
Blogging is often more than just sharing stories. It’s often the start of special friendships and relationships. Have you made any friends through the blogosphere?
When I first started blogging, I did not expect to connect with many fellow bloggers, it did not factor into my head this new platform I was about to embark on would engender much in way of connections, let alone friendships. I was wrong.
Ten years down the track and I’ve made amazing friends with people from around the world: the UK, Germany, Israel, Italy, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Argentina and in my own backyard, Australia. (I may have missed a few places… apologies!) The nicest part about the ‘blogosphere’ is meeting new people who have similar interests, yet are different from each other and friends I have at home.
What about you? Have you made friends through the blogosphere?

Thank you for your continued support and as always, I look forward to your comments and will respond.
