With the final book in the series—Minotaur’s Lair—about to be published, I wanted to share with you the resources I used in my research in preparation for writing. I did a lot of studying and delving into many sources, some of which led me into a rabbit warren. Some days, I got so invested in the research, I didn’t get around to writing.
I love ancient history and enjoy reading articles about archaeology and new discoveries that are made. I was saddened and angered when ISIS destroyed many important historical sites in Syria. They’ve obliterated their own history as much as the world’s oldest civilisation for a skewed perspective of their beliefs. Destruction of such important sites such as Palmyra can never be restored.
I digress, but this may help you understand why I love ancient history and hope through my stories to share that passion with you.
